Studying at SKEMA is an interesting journey, which took me two years. During this time, I acquired lots of necessary skills and capabilities needed to enter the next step of life – finding a good job and feeling competent in my position. The advantage, which I found in the two-year program, was that the first academic year helped to refresh my knowledge in subjects such as: law, strategy, accounting and economics. The second-year classes developed my practical skills.
I found the company project to be the highlight of the Digital Marketing program. First, because we were able to work with real businesses. Company representatives took a lot of their time to curate the project. The coaches coordinated us through necessary steps for successfully accomplishing the project. Second, we had a feel for how the project works in real life and what investor’s expectations were. Third, the projects helped to develop professional networks and create useful contacts. My project was about the SAAS business. I feel I gained knowledge about this booming sector that I consider as my own competitive advantage, due to the innovative nature of such a business.
Moreover, SKEMA offers many extra activities. There are always professional events and forums. Speakers from different industries that come from all over the world to share their knowledge and give advice. Apart from this, I attended golf classes, which were offered by SKEMA.
