Village Graphic

The Master of Science Digital Marketing program serves as a leverage for students to become consultants for startups or established companies through project development training. The program offers a unique opportunity for prospective graduate students to expand their digital marketing knowledge and work in the field. Furthermore, Skema Business School provides professional support thanks to enterprising experts who coach junior consultants for company projects.

The company project, “Village Graphic” is composed of nine students working for a French printing shop in Vallauris named NormaColor. The founder has two objectives: to create a community of professional graphic designers and to implement a commercial platform. That is why he created a village through a fablab and a co-working space where professionals and customers can work together.

The student group began their project by analysing the market through a benchmark. Evaluating the competition and understanding Village Graphic’s position compared to similar companies was crucial. This evaluation was followed by a survey in order to understand the customer‘s expectations and provide recommendations for the company. The results of the survey helped the company understand the customers, the services they expect, the message to attract them and the competition. After the strategic marketing analysis was complete, a communication plan (online tools, such as Facebook ads, to enhance the website through tracking software…) was developed in order to reach the manager’s objectives.

It is the hope that this experience will improve the student group’s skills thanks to the group’s synergy and knowledge learned during the Master of Science program.
